How to Choose the Right Structural Type of Vacuum Conveyor

Selecting the appropriate vacuum conveyor structure can be approached in three steps:

1. Determine the vacuum source type: Consider explosion-proof requirements, production capacity and conveying distance. For general materials, larger capacities, longer distances, and continuous operation, electric vacuum pumps are recommended. For flammable or explosive powders, or in high-sanitation applications such as food and pharmaceuticals, with smaller capacities and shorter distances, pneumatic vacuum generators should be prioritized, as they operate without sparks and ensure safety and cleanliness.

2. Determine the layout configuration: Choose based on the number of equipment units and capacity scale. For single-machine feeding, limited space, flexible mobilitand small-to-medium capacities, the integrated electric model is suitable. For shared use across multiple production lines, large capacities, long-distance conveying or centralized material supply, the split electric model is preferred. Pneumatic models are mostly integrated in design and are suited for independent single-point feeding.

3. Match the structural design to specific operating conditions: Optimize further according to industry standards and material characteristics. In food and pharmaceutical industries requiring GMP clean standards and frequent cleaning, sanitary-grade structures should be used. For highly abrasive materials such as metal powders or mineral powders, wear-resistant reinforced structures are necessary. In explosion-proof areas with large production capacities, electric explosion-proof split structures can be selected to balance capacity with safety.
