After using a dust-free feeding station for some time, many users find that dust collection efficiency drops and filters clog often, requiring frequent stops for cleaning. When this happens, most people's first reaction is to complain about equipment quality. But in most cases, the real cause is not the equipment itself. But it is usually one of these three overlooked operating details.

Detail 1: Compressed air quality does not meet requirements
The blow-back system relies on compressed air for cleaning. If the air supply contains moisture or oil mist, these contaminants will stick to the filter surface with the blow-back airflow.Moisture makes dust form hard crusts and oil mist bonds dust firmly to the filter. The filter will soon become completely blocked. Check the end of the air line for liquid water. If water is found, install a dryer upstream and regularly drain accumulated water from the bottom of the air receiver tank.
Detail 2: Improper feeding technique
Some operators pour entire bags of material into the hopper all at once to save time. This creates a sudden burst of dust concentrationand large amounts of dust hit the filter directly. The correct method is to pour slowly and evenly, giving the dust enough time to be carried away by the negative pressure airflow. Also, tapping the bag against the grate is a common mistake. Dust stuck on the outside of the bag will fall off and be sucked directly into the filter.
Detail 3: Filter element type does not match material properties
Sticky materials tend to adhere to standard filter surfaces and are hard to remove. For these, use PTFE-coated filters or sintered stainless steel filters. For highly abrasive materials, choose filter media with better wear resistance. If the filter type is wrong, no amount of operational adjustment will solve the problem. Also check whether the filter seal ring is properly compressed. If not, dust-laden air can bypass the filter and leak directly, allowing dust to enter the fan and cause more serious damage.
